[ARCHIVED] Update on City Recycling Services

recycling on hold

Recycling Facility Update
The Material Recycling Facility that services League City residents is still recovering from a recent fire. In the meantime, we are working with AmeriWaste to secure an alternative facility to ensure your recycling needs are met.

Recycling trucks will still run their normal routes, and residents can place recyclables out on the curb for regular pick-up—but please be aware they will not be recycled during this time. Residents may also hold onto recyclables until further notice if they prefer.

League City residents can also drop off recycling at the Stella Roberts Recycling Center in Pearland for free. They ask that you not use black garbage bags. Learn more about their sorting policy, what they accept, and their hours of operation here

The City will provide additional details about curbside recycling as soon as more information is available
