New LCPD Diversity Advisory Board

Graphic lcpd logo. text diversity advisory board.

Chief Gary Ratliff has been working with a group from our community to gather insight and recommendations in creating the infrastructure for the League City Police Department Diversity Advisory Board.

The purposes of this board are to increase engagement and improve relationships between the League City Police Department and the diversity of cultures served while increasing the number of minority police applicants. The League City Police Department is devoted to protecting life, property, and individual liberties while enhancing the quality of life. To achieve these ends, we are committed to forming and promoting practical partnerships with those we serve. Chief Ratliff stated that “I believe that as stakeholders in this community, our citizens provide valuable and useful input and I welcome their involvement as we strive to keep League City a place, we want to call our home.” Our officers are directly involved within the League City community in many areas, and continually invite citizens to participate in cooperative programs.
