The City of League City ranks among the ‘Best Cities for Young Families’ in the nation, according to a recently published ApartmentList.com listing.
League City has been ranked the 18th best city for 2016.
Rankings were determined based on safety, housing costs, school quality, and child friendliness – factors identified as being important to families.
“Our community is one of the fastest growing in the area,” said City Manager Mark Rohr. “Affordable housing, top-rated schools, great eateries, and the extensive recreational opportunities available continuously rank among the top reasons why many choose League City as one of the best places to live, work and play.”
The City’s ranking increased from 2015 when ApartmentList.com listed League City the 34th best city in the nation.
“Our future is full of promise,” said Rohr. “As we continue to grow, our small-town feel with a big city approach will continue to make League City ranked among the best communities today, tomorrow and in the future.”
