Records

Responsibilities

The records management unit oversees all official police records, computerized report retrieval, and alarm permits. The following services are available to the community:

• Online Alarm Permit Application 
  - Printable Alarm Permit Application (PDF)
  - Article II Alarm Systems (PDF)
• Accident Reports
• Public Police Reports 
  • If a police report is not available online, contact the records unit at 281-338-4152. Valid identification such as a driver’s license or passport is necessary when requesting an arrest report or a criminal history report.
• Open Records Request 
  • Not all the information in every report will be available online; copies of complete reports require an open records request. Simply put the request in writing then email, mail, or hand deliver it to the Records Division.
• Money orders and personal checks accept payable to the City of League City
• Requests from District Attorney Offices
• Notary Services
  •  This service is available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.
