Responsibilities

The Investigations Bureau consists of the Criminal Investigations Division, Special Operations Division and Animal Control.  

Bureau Commander Captain Harold Lee

Captain Harold Lee began his career with the League City Police Department in 2005. Prior to joining LCPD, he served in the U.S. Army from 2001 – 2005. Captain Lee is a combat veteran who served as a Tank Commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.

Harold has worked in the following positions during his tenure with the Department: Field Training Officer, Marine Safety Enforcement Officer, Firearms Instructor, Gang Investigator, K9 Coordinator, SWAT Officer, Commander of Jail Operations, and Commander of Special Operations. He is currently assigned as the Investigations Bureau Commander.  

Captain Lee holds a Master Peace Officer License through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. He has an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from College of the Mainland and he graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Captain Lee is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va., Session 275.
