Fishing Extravaganza: March 7, 2020* Registration is full for this event

Come out to the League City Walker Pool for a unique fishing experience at the annual Fishing Extravaganza. The pool will be filled with catfish! Remember to bring your fishing poles, bait and a towel to keep warm and dry. Cane fishing poles will be available to rent. Register at Hometown Heroes Park or online (you will need an account). Space is limited to 50 per time slot. 

 Ages 7 and under: 10 to 11:50 a.m.*
 Ages 7 to 18: Noon to 1:50 p.m.*
 All Ages: 2 to 3:50 p.m.*
 All Ages: 4 to 5:50 p.m. (no catch limit)
 *Catch Limit: 8 fish per registered participant

Registration for League City residents opens January 2nd with a fee of $6.
Registration opens January 9th for non-residents with a fee of $10.

Community Garage Sale: March 28, 2020

Time for spring cleaning! Join us March 28th from 8 am to Noon whether you want to sell or shop. We want to help you turn your trash into someone’s treasure, so register now for our Community Garage Sale! Each booth will be a marked 10 by 10 foot space. Booths will be assigned randomly. Register at Hometown Heroes Park or online (you will need an account).

1K/5K Walk for Wellness: April 4, 2020

This year Walk for Wellness will be held on April 4, 2020 at Walter Hall Park. The event will start at 7:30 am. The registration fee is $25 or $30 if done on packet pick-up day or race day.

Meet us at the finish line! Each year the City of League City and the Friends of League City Seniors Foundation partner to bring you Walk for Wellness 1K/5K Walk/Run. This event is designed to increase awareness of the needs of seniors and encourage citizens of all ages to develop healthy lifestyles! All proceeds benefit the League City Senior Citizen Program. 

Registration can be done online or by filling out the Registration Form and dropping it off at Hometown Heroes Park.

League City Egg Scramble: April 5, 2020

Join us for an egg-citing day of egg hunting, and a chance to win cool prizes! We’ll also have face painting and other fun activities. No registration required. Kids activities: Noon to 1 p.m. The scramble begins at 1 p.m. sharp.

Location: Chester L. Davis Sportsplex, 1251 W. League City Pkwy
Age groups for the scramble: 0 to 2 years/ 6 to 8 years/ 3 to 5 years/ 9 to 12 years

Epee Fencing Tournament: April 5, 2020

Join us on April 5th at Hometown Heroes Park starting at 12:30 p.m. for our first Epee Fencing tournament. There will be three age groups: 8-10 years, 10-12 years, and 12-14 years. We will be using an aging date of January 1, 2020.

Registration will begin January 8th and the registration fee is $30.

Mother Son Date Night: May 8, 2020

The perfect date for mother and son! Join us May 8th from 6:30-9:30p. We will provide games, activities and food for moms to enjoy with their sons, all while teaching our young men how to treat a lady on a date.

Registration opens March 4th for League City residents with a fee of  $27.50 per person.
Registration opens March 18th for non-residents with a fee of $41.25 per person.
